Jessica Eden Roth’s passion is graphic design and photography, and her work is informed by the many diverse cultural experiences she’s had while traveling and earning her undergraduate degree.
Jessica enjoys creating works that touch on socio-economic issues while promoting diversity and inclusivity. Art can be a powerful vehicle for change, and she intends to create pieces that invite critical discourse, encourage interrogation of policies and schools of thought, and challenge norms while giving a voice to those without.
Although Jessica’s professional practice is rooted in graphic design, she has been inspired by modern artists Katy Jade Dobson, who crafts beautifully abstracted oil paintings on wood panels, and Zaria Forman, who recreates hyperreal images of changing landscapes and icebergs on life-sized canvases using only oil pastels.
Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in Digital Technology and Culture with a minor in English and a Professional Writing Certificate from Washington State University (Richland, WA) in 2018. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and began her career as a graphic designer.
In addition to her full-time position as the communications and marketing manager for a local nonprofit, Jessica is working to expand her creative opportunities, gain inspiration and make new connections while contributing to her community. She plans to use the tools gained in her academic and professional experiences to create and share her work while nurturing her love of design.
